It's a new year! And with that always come some reflection and new goals for the future. I love going through my old blog posts and reading about my little family's life together and seeing the photos, and watching the seasons change. (and I read through all the old comments left, its one of the main reasons I love comments and appreciate them!) So making these end of the year reviews is fun for me, even if most of you wont read it since you've probably already been along for the ride! This year I made it into categories of events. Starting with the most epic:
Most important and exciting things of the year:
Most important and exciting things of the year:
Being done with his Masters degree
(although he wont be walking/graduating till April)
(although he wont be walking/graduating till April)
June's Milestones:
Turning TWO years old!
Saying a million new things and sentences:
Tells jokes, stories, needs WANTS, AKA- actually communicates in real sentences

And, like, a million other things because she is a toddler and develops all the time
Becoming a better photographer?
Making some new close friends
Life goals accomplished:

Trips:
Botswana (Celebrate a country day)
Stomach flu count for Anna and June:
Favorite dates:

Christmas Concert at temple square
All our temple dates
All our temple dates
And then, of course, the other dates that were EPIC but mentioned in other categories:
Sailing, hot air ballooning, horse back riding, and over nighter for anniversary
Sailing, hot air ballooning, horse back riding, and over nighter for anniversary
In summation, after looking through it all, I have come to some conclusions:
- I'm not sure if Buck and I can keep it up with all these amazing dates. I mean, what else is there to do?! And with having a new baby this year, who knows what will happen.
- I am hoping for a year with NO stomach flu- do you think it's possible?
- We will NOT be buying any more new pets this year! (Did Anna, the animal lover, really just proclaim that? Yes, yes she did. A dog has changed her.... and besides a baby is more than enough to add to the chaos.)
- Maybe it's weird, but when I look back over it all, my favorite time of the year might just be my tea party.
-- In the end the most important things that happened this year were the personal lessons I learned and the ways I made new relationships with others and the ways I was able to deepen the ones that I have. My attempts and failures at becoming closer to God.
And as for this new year? I've made my new goal list. Somethings I know about 2014- like I'm going to have a baby girl! And I'm going to get to see our families again. June will turn three. Summer will come. But even then, that's all with a big sigh of "God willing" now isn't it?
So here's to the new blank slate! I hope to fill you with many days worth remembering!

I love this review! What a long year! This makes me want to create a goal of better blogging :) But what would it say? "Today I was so tired and somehow kept every one alive" I guess the pictures could be...interesting... ;) Looking forward to next year's adventures!
I have a friend in Utah training with me! Where exactly do you live? She would love to spray you for your big day. I'm totally getting a spray for when I have little man!
You sure know how to live life to the fullest and we thank you for being wonderful examples to us on just how to do that!
