Hot Springs, Dinos, and Stars.

My sister's kids had their spring break during this month, a few weeks earlier than ours, but regardless, she decided to come down and visit for the week, even though my kids still had school and stuff. And my mom decided to come down too! The men had to stay home and work but us girls (plus Johnny and Harvey 😜) had a great time!

Before they even got here, we met them up in northern Utah at a hot springs we'd all never been to before. It was a great day! It was still cool outside but not too cold, making it the perfect hot springs day.

Always a sign of a good day out.

Then the little kids got to go to the dinosaur museum one day during school.

We let the older girls skip one day of school, because, you know, YOLO. We took the kids to the BYU planetarium. The kids all LOVED this and had the best time at the show. Afterwards we got lunch and then ice cream in Provo.

Another day the littler kids got to go to the park and had a blast. We also spent an afternoon at my grandma's house.

And they got to play in the bounce house at home.

My mom and sister went to June's school play.

And of course, there was some fun time to relax and hang out at home.

Buck's Birthday!

Buck's birthday was a good one! He got to take the day off work and have a relaxing day. He got traditional coffee cake, a day of laziness, family games and a "cake" of "indoor S'mores."

And then there just had to be a surprise, because, well, I love surprises and making birthdays special. So the weekend before his birthday I surprised him with a chess tournament party! We had like 12 men from family and friends show up and they were all good sports to play chess for a few hours. I had lots of food, Buck loves meat, cheese, and crackers and all things chocolate and desserts so I threw some things together and then later on I made pot stickers and quesadillas because he also loves those.

Buck made it to the top two but came up second place. Not too bad though for the birthday boy. ;)

Happy St. Patrick's day!

It was a a good, green day. The kids were determined to make traps so there was that and the leprechaun left gold coins and made the toilet water green and the milk. For dinner we had an Irish meal of shepherds pie, scones, and some rainbow fruit. Oh and of course, some rainbow jello. ;) Holidays are fun! Oh and the kids made their own rainbow shirts. Fun times.

The Traps:

June's

Rose's
Hazel's, which was a whole thing.
Johnny didn't want to make one. haha
