I know, we're already into the second week but it's been nuts trying to stay afloat with life and having a newborn. But I did manage to get photos of June and Hazel on their first days of school. This year we also didn't have our cute "back to school" dinner at home, but we did have a wonderful breakfast food dinner at my in law's house the night before. And Buck gave each girl a "back to school" father's blessing. AND they made it to school so there's that as well.
June was so excited to pick out her outfit and to get her new dazzling backpack. So here she is-

Hazel is starting her second year of preschool. She gets to start it out with her bright red cast that's decorated in jewels (it's a fancy lady bug) and she got to decorate her tote bag as well!

And that's a wrap! We're looking forward to the school year, I guess. I mean, I always favor summer but I am excited because my girls are. I am not made to home school so I am thankful for our wonderful teachers and schools!
