A Little Hike

I know, two mountain posts back to back. I kept thinking I might have another mountain outing to add on to this one too but then the weather has been more cold and rainy and I got sick and stuff so I'll just add this little hike on here now. 

My friend and her daughter took us to a new spot. A little hike that goes behind the reservoir. It was perfect! I know it will be much more crowded as summer hits, so I'm glad we got to explore it now. But I am excited to add the older girls into our next hikes!

Welcome Home

Welcome back to my mountain posts! haha I feel like I make a lot of these during the summer. But no apologies for that! Just gratitude and happiness. I cried a little when I drove into the canyon, it was my first time back this year since winter. Everything was already so tender and green and my heart was full. My friend Tanya and a couple of her kids came as well. We wore our galoshes (or decided to go barefoot- crazy Rose!) and traipsed through the shallow parts of the river. I brought the dog too and he loved the water. I hope for a bright and hot summer ahead of us!

Lately- April

 Honestly, what month is it? I totally wrote the wrong one down. haha But we're still chugging along here. And here's the moments in between tulip festivals and such. ;)

We got to take the boat out a couple times! It was warm and sunny outside but chilly in the wind of the boat so we bundled up.

Buck and I both got sick from our covid vaccines and the cats seemed to sense that we weren't okay. 💜
