We love you so much! Watching you grow up has been nothing but joy filled! We feel so lucky to have you, you're everything we could have ever hoped for. 💖
Lately you're really into learning. Okay, so you've always been into learning, but you're soaking up so much from 1st grade. You've been learning about the planets, math, different cultures, reading, and music. You've been loving your musical theater class and piano. You also love dance. You come home and tell us word for word what your teachers teach you and it's so fun to see the way your brain works.
You continue to be obsessed with crafts. And not just normal crafts but you love to build and put together anything in your own way. Like instead of using the clipboard that we have, you want to make your own out of cardboard. You're currently making a wrist watch out of felt. A whole fishing pole, fish, fire, pan, and plate out of mere paper, even steam was included for the cooked fish. You created the whole life cycle of an apple seed out of paper too. Every day you come home with new things to make. Golden tickets from Willy Wonka, a trophy you saw on a cooking show- you name it, you're making your own version of it.
You are still super goofy. You love to tease June. You make the craziest faces and sounds and you love to laugh the loudest. Taking these birthday photos was quite the adventure with you and your rambunctious spirit!
You have a homebody spirit as well, and you like your comforts nearby. It's been very interesting to see how you've always been this way since you were born!
But you love to have friends and lots of people love you, but sometimes you want to keep to yourself, which is okay too. Your ideal play date is anyone who will do arts and crafts with you all day. You've also got an old soul and sometimes it seems you get along best with adults.
You're truly one of a kind! I cannot wait to see who you'll become, although there's definitely no rush, either. Stay little a little while more!
