Recitals and Stuff

 In past years we've had more recitals and stuff so this year feels more calm. But we've still had a few things! 

First up, June did orchestra in school this year so she had an end of the year recital. It was fun to watch her and the group grow. 

Hazel had her school choir end of year concert. It was super sweet and they did a bunch of Beatles songs! 

Hazel had her big Irish Dance recital! This time it was an extra special treat, as she got a big solo in her class number! 

First there were a couple traditional Irish songs

Then they did a fairy tale portion and Hazel's class did the gingerbread man and Hazel got to be the Gingerbread girl! She shined and did such a good job! 

Lots of kind, supportive family! 

Ice cream to celebrate the recital and June's orchestra. 

Johnny also ended his swimming lessons to take a break for the summer (or however long we decide) But he did so awesome and loved lessons! 

The girls also still do horse lessons and love that and now Johnny has started taking lessons too! So no recital here but an on going thing. We are thinking of signing up for a little rodeo or something in the future so stay tuned. haha

Sunset

 Hi. I just wanted to make a little post about this incredible and unique sunset that happened a couple weeks ago. I only had my phone with me to take pictures but it was incredible! And it kept changing and new colors would emerge! 

It's a nice spot to scroll through in my phone album now haha

Bryce Canyon

 As mentioned in my previous post, we spent a fun weekend in Antimony with friends, which is close to Bryce Canyon so we also went there and explored and did a hike. 

As you've noticed, there was a storm in the distance....

And anyway, we totally got hit with a hail storm and it hurt but it was an adventure! 

After the storm passed, we decided to hike! 

It was a very muddy hike. But it was a lot of fun. The kids only got sad a few times, but overall they were great hikers. And the hike itself was so incredible! Orange rocks, hoodoos but unlike goblin valley these ones are much larger and there are thousands more. It's like walking through a giant orange pipe organ. It was incredible. 

Even if it was muddy.

Afterwards the kids got sworn in as Junior Rangers and got their badges. 

Then we had dinner in the town and then shopped and got ice cream at the small little western town outside Bryce Canyon. 

It was a memorable day! So much adventuring packed in!
