Hazel had a great birthday! I decided to decorate for a "Fruit bat" theme because that is one of Hazel's nicknames because she has always loved bats but also she eat SO much fruit all the time. So we call her a fruit bat. She also got to have a party with friends. She chose to invite all her friends from her Irish dance class. We went ice skating and then came back and had crepes for dinner, and lots of fruit, of course, and then they had a movie night. They watched Twisters. And had more snacks. So they had a great time! Each guest got to take home their pineapple drink cup and a little stuffed bat.
Birthday morning presents and coffee cake and then more presents in the afternoon after school!
After school she wanted to go get a milkshake at Iceburg so we did that! And then she wanted homemade hamburgers for dinner.
Then it was Saturday and her party!

I was pretty proud of how the fruit bat cake turned out that I made and decorated! Also, it was actually brownies because she requested that but I turned into looking like a cake. ;)
I hope Hazel felt how incredibly loved she is and had the best birthday!
