HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSIE!!!!
Today you are 5 years old! What an exciting age! You are seriously the
cutest five year old ever and full to the brim with a deep love of all
things baby dolls, stuffed animals, real animals, coloring, dress ups,
princesses, bugs, and family.
You are super social and make friends everywhere you go and everyone loves you. You're just too much of a party to be around I guess! But you're loyal and love your friends and family and you never get tired of spending time with them (okay sometimes you do declare, "I need space!" from your siblings...)
But yet, you can also be found playing quietly by yourself for a couple hours sometimes, just chattering away to yourself and your stuffed animals or dolls. You love to get them all dressed up in outfits and they MUST have their own separate dish of whatever food you're having. Your bed is stacked to the ceiling with these stuffed animals and dolls as well and some nights when I check on you, I can't even find you in your bed, it's like a page from "Where's Waldo."
You are a bit sassy sometimes but yet sweet as sugar. And you've also got a bit of a dark side too. haha Should be interesting to see what you grow up to be! Which, if you have it your way, you'll be about 15 different professions when you grow up. But your number one current dream is to be a "restaurant helper." And you are insistent that I join in and work with you too. So I guess we'll be opening our own diner one day?
You're really excited to try new physical activities as well. We discovered that you're pretty balanced on ice skates for a little kid. And you love to scooter and ride bikes and you really want roller blades for your birthday! You also love to run, run, run, and swim as well, although you're still a bit nervous to dunk under the water. You also love to explore outside and have adventures. You're pretty much always up for a good time. Even going to the store is a thrill for you. (Wish I could say the same from myself haha.)
You've still got your blue-grey eyes and strawberry freckles. Your hair is a light brown with a tiny little hint of red to it, so that's fun. The other day I asked you, "Why are you so cute?!" to which you answered, "Because I have freckles!" SO I guess people tell you your freckles are cute or something.
And I can't end this without talking about how much you love animals and bugs. You love them sooooo much. More than any of your siblings, I think. You got a lady bug AND a Rollie pollie farm for your birthday. But even more than bugs you love animals and so we're having an animal party for you this year. You love them all and if one ever comes into your line of vision then forget whatever else it is that you're doing, you MUST go pet the cat/dog/whatever else it may be. But above all else, your love runs deepest for dogs. You've gone as far as to ask the neighbors if you can go over and have play date with their dogs. You LOVE our dog Bleu so much! When we're gone, even at a store, you're always anxious to get home to him. When your sister's rats died, you cried for a second about the rats but then sobbed and wailed for a good 3o minutes at the idea of Bleu dying one day. I think you may be what they call "a dog person." 😅😉
We all love you soooo much! Beyond any words! We'd be lost without you! Happy Birthday Minty Rose! The sweetest little Clementine there ever was! We can't wait to see what this new year brings!
