Halloween Date

For our October date, I wanted to do something Halloween-ish. But most of those activities here are too fun not to take June with us. And the only other option would therefore be some gross haunted house or circus and I hate those.

Then I found out about what the Red Butte Gardens were doing- Some Halloween themed thing with a plant murder mystery of sorts. It ended up being a really great thing to bring kids to (of course) but whatever. June can't have it all. They really spiced the place up- everyone was dressed up, they had clues for the who-done-it where you learned more about plants, there were crafts and glow sticks and a maze with fog. We were impressed and had a spooky enough time.

After that we got some hot chocolate and cookies.
