We have some free passes to places and one of those places was the Zoo. I planned it all out, making sure we went on a day that would be the best. But Utah summers don't follow weather reports, apparently, and we ended up being poured on pretty much the entire time. So even though we got in for free, I ended up having to bu a bunch of ponchos from their gift shop (except June refused, I don't think the poncho was cool enough, you know?) So anyway, it's been record high HOT days here in Utah but there's one thing you can say for the day we went- it was not hot. 😅 And honestly, it probably made the whole thing more memorable than a normal nice day ever would have been, right? 😉 We also met up with some friends so we weren't alone in our soaked experience. Over all, it was a good day and we got to see a lot of the animals up and moving around!
