Bear Lake- Day Two

Day two at Bear Lake was another great one! We started out hanging out around camp, crafting, exploring and being on the pond a little bit.

And then we all left to go to the lake. June, Hazel and I went into town to get some food as well and got a little distracted at the Oregon trail center.

But then we made it to the lake and had a great time.

On the way back to camp I had June, Hazel and Rose with me (Johnny fell asleep in the truck with Buck) I had spotted the most amazing old school park and so we decided to stop at it. It was the best therapy I've had all year. Something about the spontaneity, the old study metal playground, the calming endless fields around us, the golden setting sun.... and the best swing set. I used to swing all the time, as a child and into my college years. There was a large metal swing set near my apartment back in my sleepy small college town and I would go there often and swing and swing and swing and think about life. And being there that day, on another sleepy swing set, no longer alone with my thoughts but now surrounded by my daughters.... life turns out beautiful, doesn't it?

And then back to camp so a nice sun set and some fireside chats.
