After our butterfly adventure we got lunch and then headed to the beach. It wasn't hot enough to don the swim suits and jump in but I don't know what I'm ever thinking because the kids end up in wet clothes as run away and towards the waves. We played for a few hours in the waves, rock hunting, and throwing sticks (okay that was mostly just Buck.) And I got mad at a cloud, mind you, the ONLY cloud in the whole sky, that hung stubbornly in front of the sun for at least an hour, but otherwise I was happy to be at the ocean no matter what. ;) There's truly nothing better than free play in nature.
