Our second day in California, we went to the beach! Anytime I can be near the ocean, I am happy. The weather was truly perfect this day and the beach was not very crowded at all. We rented a huge van to get there and also a bunch of beach stuff so that we didn't have to pack any. June was brave in the water and body surfed with Buck and she loved digging for sand crabs. Hazel loved rolling around in the shallow waves, digging, and chasing the birds. Rose was thrilled at running towards and away from waves and digging in the sand. And Johnny was kind of grumpy until he got to sit in the shallow water and splash around. The only down side was that we didn't get to stay there longer! (or move in.)

What a fun trip! It makes me want to go to Disney again soon. It really is just so magical!
A warmish ocean sounds really good right about now. (Aysinkin...anything warmer than the iceberg ocean we have here in Oregon) Those photos of Buck being buried by the kids were hilarious. And I love the bird chasing photos.
