So! I got to perform in a fun show called Big Band Tribute! I auditioned with my singing group, The Larks, (well a few members decided not to do it) but most of us did and we got cast in two musical numbers and we also had to dance while singing. Then we were in two full cast ensemble numbers. It felt like a lot of dancing sometimes haha but it was so fun! There was a live big band and they are amazing and it felt like a dream! I love music from the 1940's and it's amazing to be apart of it.
With the Larks we did "Bir Mir Bist Du Schoen" And "Chattanooga Choo Choo."
We got to wear fun vintage clothes too! Everyone in the cast was so amazing as well!
These photos are all a bit scattered, spanning from dress rehearsals to the real deal. I was so so happy to see so many friends and family show up to support me! It meant the world!
We also got to go out and dance on the dance floor when we weren't performing. The kids loved this!
It was nice to make my family proud. 🩷
Also God was so kind and gave a nice weather during very stormy days! A miracle!
It was an outdoor amphitheater so this was a big deal!

I love the cute vintage clothes and hairdos! This looks so fun but I remember you telling me how much work it was too. I'm glad it turned out so well! I don't think I could dance and sing at the same time. I mean, I really can't dance period...so it dancing at all would be an issue for me.
