Last week for our service project with neighborhood friends, we made care kits for kids in the hosptial. Our girls have been the receivers of such kits before when they were there so they were excited to do this.
The mom who facilitated this week's activity also has connections to the hospital since her husband works there. So the kids got a tour, x-rays, CT scans, bandages, and ultrasounds. (and maybe a virus or two as an extra souvenir.... can't win them all I guess! haha) (also, June was at a day summer camp this day so she wasn't there with us.)
