The In Laws

I realized that I never posted about the rest of the week spent with my in laws while they were in town. Pregnancy brain at it's finest over here.

Well. We had lots of dinners and lunches out to eat, which is very exciting for us since we maybe go once every three months. Some of these restaurants included a cool fancy cabin up in the canyon on my in laws anniversary and a sushi place another night. We love sushi and so this is always a highlight. While we were at the cabin place June started cheering "yay!" and clapping her hands. When we all looked in the direction of her sudden excitement we see two people embracing. (!) Umm, June is kind of a hopeless romantic I guess...

One day just me and my mother in law went and got manicures and pedicures, God bless it.

I also did some shopping with my father in law. Just the two of us. We went to the mall and shopped around. We didn't think much about it until we were in the maternity store and the store girls were mystified at this shopping duo. They said they had never heard of ANY girl shopping with her father in law, let alone at the maternity clothes store. haha! Any one who knows Buck's dad knows that for us this was not weird, but I can see why most girls don't do this.

June also got to go swimming for like an hour at the hotel.

We had lots of family time, including some get togethers with relatives.

Uncle Ben saving the day again- this time retrieving June's lost marble from under the dishwasher.
She's cute
And this was also the week that I did my second-ever and first-time-on-June ever french braid! Big moment for me!

Here are some photos of June on our way to go to Olive Garden. She was determined to bring her water floaty with her...

Also, our dog, Abe, loves Buck's dad. And I think Buck's dad loves Abe. He kept taking him on walks and giving him all sorts of attention. Abe was a little depressed when he left...

And I think that about covers all the highlights. We love having them here and hope they move closer soon... and until then we look forward to Christmas!

P.S. I still think you need a link on the side here to your photo blog...we should have added it yesterday.

I love that little jean jacket of June's! Actually, that whole outfit she has on. Loved the story about maternity clothes shopping with your father in law! So funny!
