On Luck

The other day I was wandering around the park with my little June Bug. We came upon a patch of clovers and so I started searching for that rascally 4-leaf clover. Naturally. Of course I couldn't find one. And I got bothered. So I picked two 3-leaf clovers and came home and ripped of one of the petals and proceeded to glue it to the other one to transform it into a 4-leaf clover. "Ha-ha!" I thought, "Oh the cleverness of me! I'm making my own luck!" I even thought about the poetic and inspiring blog post I could write about it. (Yes, I just admitted that.)

And while I thought all this, I accidentally glued my index finger and thumb together.

Has anyone ever used Crazy Glue before? Yeah. Bonds the flesh rather tightly.

Moral of the story? (aside from the fact that I'm ridiculous?)

Well, I'll let you decide.

But I'll tell you one thing- that's the last time I try and "make my own luck." Or at least with crazy glue...

Tah-Dah!

Love it!

And yes, I've used crazy glue a number of times and as you say, it does bond the flesh rather tightly. I think I'm just uncoordinated and can never get the glue where it's supposed to go and most of it ends on my fingers... Haha!

I used to always look for 4 leaf clovers, but I never did find one! I've had a few encounters with crazy glue too!
