Always a fun, green holiday. First we got to go to the parade downtown and Hazel got to dance in it and then perform again on an indoor stage. It was fun!
And then of course there were the leprechaun traps that the kids had to make that night. Apparently I only got a photo of hazel's trap but I did take videos of each kid explaining their traps.
Then we hosted Buck's family for a fun festive dinner on St. Patrick's day! It was fun to go all out, you know me. ;) We had soda bread, rainbow fruit, rainbow jello, Shepards pie, apple cake and custard, and butter beer.
It's a funny holiday since many America's are not Irish anymore and yet we go all out. I hear they don't even do much in actual Ireland haha. But hey, Buck is 13% Irish so we have some claim. ;) And Hazel has red hair and does Irish dance sooo.... we're all basically Irish. 😉💚🍀
