I thought that Buck turning 40 was a great excuse to spend money we didn't have and go somewhere far away and exciting. He decided to be more practical and chose to go to Moab Utah for just a couple nights. ;) But it was a solid choice and we had a great time! Just wish it could have been even longer, except we also kept remarking about how "we need to bring the kids back." Being a parent is like that. But anyway, we did a few hikes, went off roading, had a nice birthday dinner, relaxed, watched a movie and soaked in the hot tub at the hotel. Not a bad way to turn 40. :)
Off roading was fun because there weren't any other people most of the time! Felt like we had arches national park to ourselves. Plus we got to see a couple arches too that you can't access without an off roading car.
