Valentine's Day

 Valentine's day was fun! The kids had little gifts on their chairs in the morning. We had cherry turn overs and heart shaped eggs for breakfast. I gave them each a little back pack with some candies and socks inside.

Rose gave these away, inflatable headbands! haha so funny. I found them online for like $5!

Hazel gave away bugs. I forgot to get a photo of the others but June had sticky hands but they were heart shaped and Johnny had little animal window cling ones

Since I helped out at Johnny and June's Christmas class parties, it was Rose and Hazel's turn for me to come to their class parties. I love how excited they are to see me!

That night we did a fancy family dinner. We had crepes with all the trimmings, one of the kids' absolute favorite meals. ;)

It's funny how everyone was asking what Buck and I were doing for Valentine's day..... it's been a long time since we've gone on a date on Valentine's day.... it just feels like such a fun holiday that's exciting for the kids and I want to be with them! Plus seeing all the flowers and chocolates in the store doesn't suddenly make me feel all romantic. We can be that way any day of the year, right? 😜
