A Weekend by the Sea

Aside from seeing lots of tulips on our quick trip, we also got to go see the ocean a little bit too!

One quick stop we collected some speckled rocks for our kids.

Then we went to a couple different beaches and collected shells, Buck threw wood into the small waves, we found a washed up, haunted, sunken ship, and an old crab! Being by the salty water is always good for the soul.

And now for a few scattered things I took photos of and want to also remember.

First- lots of good food and unique sea side restaurants

Rainy drives through so much greenery!

Some cute reactions to facetiming the kids while we were at the tulips

A photo from the babysitters, they managed to take all the kids to church and were even early!

Some action shots of me haha

Hanging out in the condo way too late and laughing a lot.

We got to watch a river otter swimming by the shore! I was so sad that we had to rush away soon after to get to the airport but Max and Rebecca had time and went down and got some photos of more of them!

What happens when I let Buck take photos..... WAY TOO MANY

A few flying photos because, well, the views really never get old.

And lastly, a very happy reunion back home.

I'm so grateful my parents invited us to go and that we got to spend time with them and my sister and our friends! I'm grateful for time away but grateful for happy faces to come home to. I'm grateful for beautiful places in the world and all the beautiful things that people do.

(And a special thanks to my sister, Erin and friend, Rebecca for all the photos of Buck and myself together. :)

Hooray! What a fun, somewhat spontaneous little trip! I love the picture of you and Buck on the log near the haunted ship!
