Just a little bit of Hocus Pocus!
We'll put a spell on yoooou!
Presenting the Sanderson Sisters, The spell book, Binks the cat, and Billie the Zombie:
A few items of business- if you've never seen Hocus Pocus (gasp!) then you wont fully appreciate these costumes. But no matter what, you will appreciate that my mom designed and sewed the girls' costumes!! (I am still so spoiled) and she did an AMAZING job!! Can't thank you enough, Mom! (and I made Johnny's spell book onesie and I was proud of myself.)
I had a lot of creative ideas surging through me for this photo shoot but alas, it was not meant to be. Johnny was uncomfortable and crying the whole time and Rose didn't want her costume on so I kept distracting her with candy, so the photos were a mad dash of snap shots with a nice camera. But hey, we still managed some fun ones. And the family photos and fun/creepy zombie in the leaves photos were taken by our cousin, Chelsea!
So anyway, Happy Halloween!

You pulled off amazing costumes and photos! I've only seen hocus pocus once and it was with you. Someday I will watch it again! This is what I imagined going through Hazel's mind..."I look good in makeup, oooo, I'm gonna try this pose, yup, I look good."
So well done! I already commented on Facebook, but spell book baby, Hazel's hair and the ball popper broom are my favorites. Those dresses are obviously amazing too. Your mom sure loves you. I hope you know that!
I've never seen Hocus Pocus (gasp!) but I still really appreciate how beautiful all those costumes are. Your girls are all so unique and they are all beautiful! (And Johnny is so handsome, of course!)
We saw Hocus Pocus just a couple of days before you made the FFB post. We were amazed at the costumes and characterizations of all of you. Spot on!
We re-watched “Hocus-pocus” and now I understand why there is the broom a mop and the ball popper. Pretty creative. Even though there was a time crunch for the costumes it was still fun creating and my favorite part was painting the symbols on the green cloak. You all look amazing and I love spellbook.
