June's Birthday PARTY

June's birthday has come and gone, but what a day it was! It was my first time decorating for a party in the new house, and now that the ceilings are so high, it was a new challenge to take on. ;) Actually, I kept things pretty basic and simple (for me) since I'm pregnant and all.

So first June got to wake up to her decorations and presents.
And she woke up to her cousins here, who had gotten in late the night before!
Excited she got some perfume.
Opening her main gift...
An electric guitar! Who knows, but she wanted one so badly!
Birthday coffee cake
And then we were spoiled BIG TIME with another AMAZING cake made by my sister in law Jade! It was amazing! Also, before this day when I asked June what kind of cake she wanted me to tell Jade to make she said, "I don't want you to tell her ANYTHING. I want her to do whatever she wants to do. I want to see her personality." haha!

For her party that day we had a "Theater party." June is all about putting on performances so I thought it would be fun. Of course I had to make Buck do something involved so he built a little stage for this set up.
My sister did the sign!

She had friends over. We then put them into two performing groups where they had to make a play, get in costumes, and then perform. We had a concessions stand for the audience too. June's group did a song and dance and then the second group did a skit about rain and Hazel kind of surprised us all to by taking over that whole performance. haha! June was spoiled some more with kind gifts from her friends and then she decided she wanted to sing her own made up solo! It was a success!
Popcorn mess like a true theater.
And the after math haha!

And now some videos of the performances!

What a cute birthday party idea! I think we used that same backdrop for a photo booth for one of Seth's birthday parties!
