May was a crazy month of moving and selling homes but we are now finally in our new home and FINALLY have internet so I can finish this post. Gripping details, I know.
Anyway, May started out right with the temple!
I finally got smart and moved the slide inside. I mean, it only occupied her for ten minutes but that's better than most things.
Always climbing and always snitching my food.
The woes of being four.
Some last warm nights in our old backyard.
Mother's day flowers.
Mother's day singing at church by the primary kids
And mother's day breakfast.
More flower photos because LOOK AT ALL THE COLORS!!
I just love sleeping babies. For so many reasons.
Even better is cuddly babies. (okay, so she's a toddler. shhhh)
Sister book bonding time
Life doesn't get any better than roaming free in the grocery store while wearing your pajamas. When you're a toddler, anyway. I could personally think of more exciting things as an adult....
Wearing my choir shirt (I'm in a community choir) and this shirt is like a mermaid disco ball!
At our main, final concert:
Being pregnant really adds to the "disco ball" effect.
At my brother in law's MBA graduation!
Lunch afterwards.
And then some park time before heading home.
Give June some work out clothes and next thing you know she's rounded up her sister and put on a work out show. Outfits are powerful for females.
Silly Rose.
Being married to Buck is like
Who doesn't want to sleep with a doll on their face?
Backyard days with Rose and her crazy hair.
I got to go to school for June's "Author day" to meet her, the author, and read her stories she worked on.
Word to the wise: Don't take June to Hobby Lobby or near the stuffed animals because she will dig out all the unicorns and mourn them when you don't let her buy any of them.
We love finding Buck's name everywhere. Look how excited he is.
We went to Costco one day and June had a pad of post its and and a pen. I don't know why but she decided to put secret notes ALL over the store, including some people! (oops....) Here were a few I got photos of, but there were probably 92 around haha.
Sunday's with Pops.
Went to the mountains with Rose's new leash! haha It was great to have! She has no fear and is too young to fully understand what I'm trying to tell her (or to listen, anyway) so a leash it was! But I actually got a toddler harness and a retractable dog leash so that she can have more "freedom." ;)
Meanwhile, June and Hazel traumatized an entire community of baby snails...
Sometimes I still get to cuddle with my June Bug.
Hanging out at cool friend's houses.
I love picking June up from school and seeing her being such a kid, hanging out with friends and all that.
June's super fun "Alligator city."
The old city hall where we have choir practice. I love it!
Found a caterpillar on my plant! And then it made a cocoon! When we moved I checked on it and found that it had emerged and escaped somehow so we never got to see it fly away.
A cute photo my friend sent to me while the girls were playing at her house (because she is a saint and watched them so we could pack.)
Hazel's last day of preschool. She was making a sad face in this photo because her best friend Trevor had just left and wasn't in the photo.
Having fancy Indian drinks for brother Ben's birthday!
I guess I just really thought Rose looked cute eating some raspberries?
One of the last photos of us around that kitchen table before packing it all up (and giving it away!)
Getting spoiled with morning snuggles.
We got to go see the children's play of The Sound of Music. It was great!
Last days leaving that door with that view.
Shaved ice! Finally! It's BACK!
Strange and random sightings.
Apparently boxes make a great playground.
During my last week at the old house, I decided to go to that diner on main street that I thought would be "our place" but never was (because it closes at 5:00 pm!) It was fun to go there for the third time ever. So great that we went for lunch the next day too. hah
The "T" is cut off here, but it's called "Tangies."
I wanted a last photo of our tree Buck and I carved into the first month we had moved in when I was pregnant with June.
Rose often feels restricted because all she wants is to run free and do whatever she wants. So sometimes I give in. Like this day I let her go play in the rain and gutters. Then she fell and got covered in mud, water, and gutter junk. She wasn't even upset! haha
Rose takes the iPad wheel.
One of June's last days of first grade. They did a dance and then some readings and got awards. June got the "fashionista" award. HAHA. She dresses herself and picks all the colors and adds accessories so it fits well.
But on her off time she likes to be a swamp thing.
And since there's a theme of doing a whole lot of nothing in May except moving stuff, here's a good ending, last time with my house key and a moving truck the size of the house!
And now that I've posted this I can move on to our new life in our new home and show you some of those adventures. (Spoiler: There are still a lot of boxes)

Hooray for internet! Now no need to unpack the rest of those boxes, just take lots of photos and update your blog! ha! I loved Hazel's dramatic face with the flowers. And a billion other things in the post and I felt sad once again about your little house!
So I have commented on things in Facebook posts for some of these pictures so I’ll just comment on a couple of things here. I like the disco ball shirt and I noticed you weren’t holding any music and you didn’t hold any music the last time I saw you perform so do you memorize all the songs or are you cheating off of your neighbors music because you just don’t want to hold music.? Then I like the one where June is in bed and the baby is lying across her. June and her baby dolls are a story all of their own. I like the new “Buck” sign you found. And I could feel Hazels disappointment in the last picture with her preschool. Ha ha. And for some reason I really liked the picture of Rose on the little trike. The tree with your initials made me cry and the next time I’m there I want to read June’s stories. Here’s to a new beginning and new stories.
I'm definitely not a saint, but I'm glad I could be of some help. :)
June with the baby doll...she knows how to rehearse all aspects of mom life!
