Last weekend my parents came into town just to hang out, even though it was a quick trip. We're glad they did and wish that they lived here! The girls waited outside on the lawn for probably an hour, anticipating their arrival.
Once they got here we went to eat at a diner.
On Saturday we went to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens to see the new Christ statues. But an added bonus was that most of the scarecrows were already up for the scarecrow festival that wasn't technically happening yet. So this saved me a trip to the gardens I was planning to take this week. Boom. My Uncle Edwin and Aunt Marie also came with us.
And I forgot my camera so here are some that my dad took with his!
Afterwards we ate at the cafe. The girls got their own table.
We hung out at our house that night, then my parents went to church with us Sunday and ate lunch and then they had to go home! Boo. But, again, we're happy for any time.

Every time you have a post with pictures from the Thanksgiving Pointe gardens, I think I need to go there next time I'm in Utah. But then when I get to Utah there is so much going on and so little time, that I forget to go!! It's so beautiful there in every season.
I just read this post with Miles and he was laughing his head of at all the scarecrows (which he occasionally calls "Happy crows" if they are smiling) You sure know how to celebrate the season. Just so you know, your posts make me exhausted too!
