CornBellys and Apple Fritters

This past week Buck had to travel across country for work and so I begged my sister to come visit and keep me company. I'm afraid I've been more of a drag than I normally am since I'm so pregnant and hormonal but I am glad they were here to get me through it! I haven't been great at taking photos but I did get some fun ones on my phone. There are a few other events that will be in other posts as well.
But for starters, here we are hanging out in the pool while June had her swimming lessons:

We also went to the city for an evening and walked around temple square and went to the mall. Hazel was a super grump so we only did so much. But Ginny was eternally distracted by the many fountains so there's always that thrill.

Some park time with Uncle Dan!

Erin and Dan made June's wishes come true and helped her make some apple fritters.

We also went to CornBelly's, which is the most intense fall festival in all the land. Here's a list of things to do there that I pulled from their website:
  • Animal Band, Barnyard Ball Zone, Barnyard Billiards, Barnyard Soccer, Campfires, Corn Ball, Corn Cob Beach, Corn Hole, Corn Maze, Cornbelly Mountain, Cow Train, Duck Races, Farm Golf, Farmer Fast Pitch, Farmn' Foosball, Giant Rat Maze, Giant Slide, Grain Train, Haybale Maze, Hayride, Jumbo Jumpers, Kiddie Courtyard, Pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Princess Playland, Pumpkin Tetherball, Pumpkin Tic-Tac-Toe & Checkers, Rat Rollers, Singing Chicken Show, Special Events, Spiderwebs, Spookley Show, Steer Roping, Dog show, Big Top Terror, Creature, Chaos Castle, Hayloft Horror, Haunted Maze, Rock Wall, Apple Blasters, Paintball, Bull Riding, Gemstone Panning, Zipline, and tons of food trucks and goodies. IT'S INSANE.

June was so scared of this creature last year. So she conquered her fear enough to go see him. But not touch him or go inside yet. One year at a time. ;)
She's a good big sister and cousin!
The corn beach. My hell. Savage kids everywhere throwing corn kernels. Pregnant me stuck in the sinking corn... yelling and chaos... corn down the pants...

We also did a Halloween photo shoot together and ate at Denny's, hung out with relatives, went to the Curiosity museum (which was short lived for me and my girls when Hazel had an accident and we went home...) carved pumpkins, I babysat Ginny so Erin and Dan could go to the temple, and lots of hanging out at my house. Thank you for coming Erin and Dan! I'm sorry I was a bit down sometimes but I really appreciated you being here and loved the time we had and memories we got to make and further bond the cousins!

And more CornBellys photos from LAST YEAR

I took Seth to a pumpkin patch last year and it had a lot of those same things. But not nearly so many!! I like the huge rocking chair...very cool!

I love that June dreams of Apple Fritters! But I'm proud of you for doing all this. I was too lame (and pregnant?) to make it to the pumpkin patch with my family after I already went with Charlie's preschool.
