Oh hey there.
I forgot to mention some things.
Like how the drive home from Boise back to Utah went (during xmas break.) This basically sums it up
While unpacking, Buck pointed out that I had never looked more like a "house wife" in all my life. Robe, crazy hair, cereal and nail polish. The essentials, in my opinion.
Playing dress ups is still a thing here.
During the break spent with Buck's family, we spent a lot of time looking at new houses because Buck's parents are moving here this summer! During this time I found my future home. (minus those crooked pitch forks maybe?)
We also went to a Jazz game one night. It was during this time that I discovered my fear of heights. Everyone else was totally okay with this slanted, high up seating. I, however, felt upside down and dizzy and like I was going to tumble down and land on a basketball player (and die, of course!)
I forgot to add these with the new years post. With all the excitement of the new year I forgot that while I can decide to stay up late, I cannot decide to sleep in. Rookie mom mistake.
Those winter nights
We irresponsibly bought a new ceiling fan. Buck's dad was like "Ten minutes and we'll have this thing up!"
.....
an hour later...
We also did some shopping at Park City. June claimed these mannequins were her parents... You know your kid is sick of you when she prefers headless parents...
We ate at our favorite Mexican Restaurant, the Loco Lizard
So here's a fun comparison photo. Hazel first and then June, same restaurant!

Annnnd, June today. (and my Shirley Temple drink. mmm)
June can be a good sharer, sometimes.
Dinosaur museum outing, just for the sand pit.
I titled this one on social media as
"Just another manic bun day."
and it seemed to resonate with many people's souls.
Well folks, June has her wedding outfit picked out. Now she's all ready to marry her uncle Ben (she claims he is her true love.)
I've been to Hobby Lobby more times this month than all of last year. Weird.
Buck went out of town again for half a week. (I hate it) and we got a date in the night before he left. We went to Texas Road house because we had a gift card there. Once we got there I realized I forgot the gift card. Winning.
To bide our time while he was gone we went to the Museum of Natural History for the first time ever.
June started her new dance and gymnastic class! She's loving it so far.
We also went out to Pizza without Buck, so take that business travel! (meanwhile Buck dined at a sea food restaurant over looking the river in Maryland. Whatever. PIZZA RULES.)
Twiners
June put Abe down for a nap
We also went on a girls ice cream outing because who counts calories when their husband is away?
Ah! But then daddy came home and a show came on the TV and life was good again.
Till next time! xoxox

Haha, I was laughing the whole way through this post...starting with your "housewife" photo. HAHA, I'm still laughing! Oh and the headless parents...hahaha!
I think the Jazz game would have bothered me too!
I absolutely love that last picture of everyone watching tv...especially Hazel!!
And Buck came to Maryland and didn't see us? What's up with that?
You look very scrunched... is that my future?
What's wrong with the pitchforks? Could come in handy if someone breaks in.
I always fear the upper bowl of jazz games... how do people run down those stairs like it a'int no thang?
Hazel looks to be a good basketball fan...
No home improvement project will ever ever take under an hour. Or two. Or ten.
Headless parents can't tell you not to do things.
June and Hazel look so much alike at the Lizard!! I remember that place.
Hazel makes good silly faces.
Best wedding outfit ever.
Was the museum good? Never been there.
WHERE ARE THE PICTURES OF JUNE IN THE BALLET OUTFIT?!
Abe is so spoiled. At least someone likes him.
And as I said before, Hazel is the ultimate couch potato in that picture.
