Every year I seem to post about our Christmas decorations, even though they are not that impressive. I do this to document for my sake. It's fun for me to look back and see how it progresses or not each year.
So far this year looks a lot like last year so I only took some photos of the few different things
First off, I turned our Thanksgiving creation into a merry and bright one. It was really difficult too, adding pine branches and such.
This year we got our tree at Costco. Not the most festive place but hey, we got free samples of food while we were there too. And look! It's the biggest tree we've had yet! And our house smells good still. Not shown here is the angel on the top. June insisted we needed an angel so we went and bought this dreadful little one with a red dress because June became attached to it. I'm sure now that's what we'll end up using for forever for sentimental reasons.
While we were shopping for the angel, we saw that all Christmas decor was 50% off at Hobby Lobby so I mean, we had to get the girls a tree too. It's a pretty reverent and symbolic tree...
Well, as reverent as June is anyways. ;)
And that's that! We aren't decorating June's play house this year, and I guess we threw away the poster of twinkle lights that we made last year too. Lame. We are lame. We did make gingerbread cookies though! And now we have a silver tree with pink pearls so that counts for something right? And maybe by the time Christmas Eve rolls around we'll have a strand of lights on our windows too so that we don't look like Grinches.
Fa la la la la!

I'm proud of you for having a real tree and you can call us lame for having a fake tree...especially when we know several people with Christmas Tree farms that have decent prices.(and we're Oregonians) Also, I love that the girls have a tree!
Love the silver tree
My grandma used to have this horrifying angel that we still have and put just below the real tree topper as tradition. So yeah, you'll have that red dress angel for years to come and I'm dying to see what it looks like.
Yep, I want to put up some lights in the window or something too.
I love your girly pink & silver tree!!
And we have one of those fabric lion ornaments too. Did you get it from my Mom?
