Today is the anniversary of two big things:
#1) The day I went into the Missionary Training Center to begin my mission that I served in Armenia
so therefore
#2) The day I met Buck, or as he was called then- Elder Harrison.
I guess you never know what day you will meet your future spouse. I, for one, had no idea on this day, five years ago, that he was sitting next to me learning Armenian in the same room. Haha Oh looking back at the photos from the MTC and our missions make me laugh. I still can't believe how things worked out. But I'm glad they did!
Here are some gems I found while looking through the MTC photos. (For the first time, released to the public.... dun dun dun!)

| We were told the Armenians squatted like this on the streets (and they do) so we were... trying to be like them...? |
HAPPY FIVE YEARS!!!

I love it Anna! I guess Ellie could do a post just like this--except we didn't get in until a week after you guys--on the 17th. I can't believe it's been 5 years. I have such great memories of the MTC--what a fun time!!
Oh life :) hooray for five years ago!
It's funny because without realizing this is when you went into the MTC I was just thinking about you and Buck yesterday and how when you first met him you of course had no idea how things would turn out. Guess I felt vibes from you and didn't know it.
fun post! what a great "love" story!
I think it's funny that in the early photos, Buck is on the other side of the group from you...but the ones from the day before you left, he is right next to you! (Although in one of them he is looking at you like he wonders what planet you came from...hahaha!) Love the "Parking for Armenians Only" sign, by the way!
You met your future spouse the day you started your mission...Frank met his future spouse (me!) the day he came home from his mission! They are both great stories!
It's truly amazing that you did not know Buck was your soul-mate after that cup trick. ;) skilzzz!
You really do have a great first meeting story though.
