Well, I successfully hatched one! (Actually four, but I think that the one remaining may have eaten the other three...)
And so now I present to you-
T-Bone. The (potential) cannibal triop!
I know. He is way gross looking. But go easy on him, he, after all, out-lived the dinosaurs. Our cat Miso loves to sit, his body practically wrapped around the little tank, watching T-bone swim and flip around. But every now and then T-bone will go to the side and stare at Miso as well. As I took these pictures he came to the side (as you can see in the top two photos) and would stop moving and just stare at me as well. Kind of endearing right?
Oh T-bone.
Well, it says he can live from 20-90 days, so... kind of a wide range there they gave us. Who knows how long this weird crustacean dino will live with us. But anyway, that's my triop story.

wild stuff! loved your stay-cation! Did you stay at the Homestead? Love the Homestead ...last year I wanted to go see those ice castles and this year too but alas we never made it! very cool! next time go to Terrahumara (sp) in Midway for dinner, awesome food! and congrats on finding out! a girl...so fun!!!!! I bet your mom is thrilled!
