Johnny wanted Harry Potter decorations so I was able to reuse a lot of stuff I already had from when Hazel wanted a Harry Potter birthday, which also was her 8th birthday. It was a little different this year since June and Hazel were gone but we got up and did traditional coffee cake and opened gifts with Johnny. Just myself, Buck Johnny and rose.
Then we had the cousins over and we did a little Harry Potter birthday party with them. We did a couple different activities making potions and had birthday cake.
Then buck, Johnny, rose, and myself all went up to the mountains and we attempted to go fishing. But i made a separate post for that.
The next day was Johnny's full birthday party. Johnny had some of his friends over and we did presents and Donuts and then I took them all to a Space Center. They got to go to the Space Center where they each got a different position, Johnny was the captain, and they had a mission that they had to fulfill and work together on. There's a whole setup where it feels like they're in a spaceship and everything. Anyway, it was what Johnny picked out that he wanted to do and he and his friends seemed to have a good time so it was a great afternoon.
After the space mission they got to play in the huge gym for a bit while we waited for Buck to show up to help me drive kids home. This might have been the highlight of the day for these kids haha
