Our annual outing to the tulips. I was planning to go in a couple weeks but then my dear long time bestie Mandy and her family were in town visiting from Texas, and they wanted to go so we went! And I am so glad we did! There were so many bloomed already due to our warm winter and even though it was the first day of the festival and spring break, it was not too busy at all! Plus the weather was perfect. A lovely day all around.
I didn't bring my real camera, which was maybe the first time that's ever happened for the tulip festival, so I had to make due with my phone.
And then I ended up going again the very next day with another friend, but without the kids! haha So I didn't take many photos
AND THEN I ended up there again on April 20th for my friend Christine's birthday! It was crazy to see how many of the tulips were already gone by then! What a strange year.
