Somehow for New Year's Eve day everyone was healthy and we were able to celebrate together, well, we were until June went to her friend's house, but, you know. We take what we can!
First we skipped the skating rink this year since we had just recently gone for Rose's birthday. So we tried a new place called "The Claw Vault. You pay for however many tokens you want and then go for it! The kids got a ton of stuffies. And Hazel traded a few of hers for a bigger one too! So fun.
Then we went to our friend's house and we played minute to win it games and had a balloon drop and good food and we also did our sky lanterns. Then Buck and I ended up going home with the kids before midnight so that we could watch the fireworks going off around the lake in all the neighboring towns, a favorite tradition!
The different color ratios of cotton candy made each drink a unique color!
The next day we needed an excuse to use this cotton candy cake so we sang happy birthday to 2026 haha
And then a few other random things we did over the week-
We took the healthy kids to airborne trampoline park with cousins
Buck and I got a little date in with Rose and Johnny
We celebrated Armenian Christmas (early. We did it on Sunday the 4th, but it's on the 7th)
And with a bonus day and everyone well, we went to get treats and then to see the butterflies!

My kids have been wanting to go to that claw place! Way to make your days off from school count. So many fun things!
