My friend Kenzi got tickets to this faith walk thing that is up at the Heber Valley camp. June actually already did it this summer because that’s where she was for girls camp. But she was excited to go again and I was excited that we could all go. It was so nice of Kenzi to think of us.
It was late though, so that it would be dark. The trail was lighted with small lights along the path. We got headsets that played music and had different people saying spiritual things and quotes. So you’d stop at different points along the way. Sometimes screens playing clips of Jesus movies or pictures. We stopped and each wrote down with an invisible pen an anonymous hard thing or trial, and later it was hanging up with countless others with a purple light now showing the invisible ink. Later one we got to write again but this time with a marker and we wrote down what Jesus would say to us if we saw him right then and those were really touching to read as well. Over all it was really peaceful and the spirit was strong. June was bawling at one point. Hazel said she was so sad when it was over because she loved it so much. Rose and Johnny were really tired haha but loved it and of course so did Buck and I. It was also nice to see Kenzi and her family.
The sunset and fall leaves put on quite a show on the way up there as well!
