Happy Thanksgiving!

 A few Thanksgiving things

First off, our annual Pilgrim Dinner. Whether of not the "first Thanksgiving" really happened or not, it's still a wonderful idea to celebrate, two groups of different people putting aside their differences and coming together. Every year I experiment a bit with some different foods but have over all kept the menu the same. This year we had a roasted chicken and potatoes and carrots, corn on the cob, dried berries, nuts, and seeds. Some rustic cheddar, homemade bread, homemade cranberry sauce, mussels, crab legs, shrimp, and some roasted butternut, acorn, and spaghetti squashes! We use the napkins on our shoulders, turn the lights low and use candles, and have Native American flute music play in the background.

On real Thanksgiving we made five pies! We had lots of helpers. We made a pumpkin pie (with a real roasted sugar pumpkin!) chocolate cream, banana cream, berry and cherry pie. all homemade crusts and homemade whipped cream too!

We spent Thanksgiving at Buck's family's house this year. It was a chill, yummy day!

Millie got some special food too haha

End of the night and cleaning up.... and the gravy went everywhere! haha

Playing games and the pets got involved

June and Rose wanted to sleep over with their cousins so that's what they did! Hazel and Johnny wanted the comfort of home.

The next day we had a Pie Day at my Grandma Jo's house and hung out with my relatives as well!

It was a great holiday!
