The next morning was Sunday and my family had found a cool old historic chapel to go to church in Honolulu. It was really beautiful with outdoor courtyards and a large old banyan tree and a detailed mosaic of Jesus at the front of the building. The chapel was huge and for each hymn not only were they playing the organ but they also had someone playing the French horn and two violinists!
We also later realized that this was the church that my grandpa, my mom's dad, most likely spent a lot of time in back in the 1940's when he would be stationed in Hawaii while he was in the Navy during WWII. My mom had felt his spirit close by during church so that was really special!

After that my family went to Pearl Harbor but Buck and I ended up not staying and took the three younger kids back to the resort (I've been before and the kids were grumpy and hungry and it was so busy there) But June stayed and got to see the sites, so I'm glad she was able to do that.
Back at the resort
That night we let June babysit in the room and the adults went to dinner at the onsite expensive restaurant, hence why we decided not to bring the kids haha
Another amazing sunset!
That night Hazel and I and Dan and Harvey got to go to a special outdoor class to learn about and view the stars. Hazel and Harvey surprised the teacher with how much they already knew about space! haha These are actual shots from some of what we got to see in the telescope that night!
It cost money so that's why not everyone did it. But everyone else, and then later on Hazel also, did an animation class.
