Halloween Town

So it turns out that our mortgage company does a free event at a pumpkin patch/Halloween party place? Who knew?! All I know is that I RSVP to that thing because normally this place we went costs a lot of money!  We got to look at all the cool pumpkins first.

Then, of course, the kids wanted to play in the corn pit...

I wanted to stand by the warm fire.

Then we went through their little haunted Halloween town. It wasn't scary at all but just enough to make the kids a bit jumpy and nervous. Like they had these little gremlin things that sometimes popped up. First we went though a themed train car and there was a ghostly projector playing too which was fun. Then in the town we got to go through the shops and were greeted by various characters. It was pretty impressive for a pumpkin patch, I say!

Then there were dancers. So random but the kids loved their short show. And then afterwards they got to join on the stage and have a Halloween dance party. All four kids loved this but June, of course, really got into it and towards the end she got into a dance off with one of the professional dancers! She's not shy, is she?

Then they also did a short Halloween play. And then more dance parties.

We also got free donuts and apple cider and a free photo at their booth. There were other things we could have done as well but were too scary for my kids. Hooray for random Halloween things!

(also Buck did come but he came later on after work so he missed the photo op.)
