Fall Break

 Oh Hi. Me again. Here to post some photos of our random Fall break. The kids had Thursday, Friday AND the next Monday off. Some people go on real vacations. We stayed around here but made the best of it! 

So despite all the things we did do, somehow we were home a lot too and lots of messes were made and lots of dress ups were worn. 

On Thursday we went to the trampoline park since it was cold and rainy outside. We went with some friends and the kids had a blast!

The next day we had a long day that started with going to the Scarecrow festival. We go every year! Thankfully it was much nicer outside this day.

Then we went up to SLC and reunited with Haben, who recently moved out to pursue some educational opportunities that were too far away from our home. The kids enjoyed time playing in the magical backyard there.

Then we took her with us and we met up with Buck at a new random restaurant. The kids loved sitting in the boat. There were not as excited about all the seafood on the menu but whatever... ;)

And then for the crowning jewel of the week- a one night stay at a normal hotel. haha But the kids always get so jazzed up about such things so we did it for one night. We were lazy, went swimming in the too-crowded swimming pool and enjoyed the free hot breakfast in the morning.

 

And I always want to remember how June is always so excited to move into the joint and always unpacks and puts her clothes away. It's an excitement she clearly doesn't have at home... 

Saturday we went home and were chill. Sunday also. But then to end the break off with a bang we went to the Witch Festival with like a million neighbors. Lots of fun witches and a great Halloween activity.

So there you have it! We survived the Fall break and had some fun too. ;)
