St. George Girl's Trip

Once upon a time a group of hot moms decided to plan a little weekend getaway, without the kids and husbands, to Disneyland. But then this crazy pandemic thing happened and their trip was canceled. So they changed the date and location and somehow ended up in St. George Utah instead during Labor Day weekend. 

This is our story.

Everyone but me drinks soda.

The road trip portion was very funny and involved lots of singing Britney Spears and talking about things that only women can talk about.

We took a super long break at the cheese factory in Utah and ate lunch and ice cream and took a photo with a giant cow.

We stayed in a super nice town home that we rented from AirBNB so once we got there we relaxed and talked. Then that night we had a swanky dinner at the Cliff side restaurant.

And then we tried to do spontaneous things.

 That night we watched a movie together and stayed up way too late talking. 

The next morning we went and got pedicures, because that's what tired moms do when they get together.

 

Then we had a great brunch at a local diner.

Which was next door to a super fun antique store.

And this great photo opt.

Somehow we ended up shopping at Target and the mall (and somehow ended up at an adult novelty store?) because I guess that's what tired moms do when they get together?

That night we had a fantastic fancy dinner at this place where they serve you your steak on a hot rock.

And once again, we stayed up way too late talking. 

The next day we ate a great breakfast in the town home and then eventually made our way to the pool. It was, after all, 109 degrees outside in St. George!

 Then we did a "favorite things" gift exchange, which is always super fun, and somehow we all ended up with matching llama pinata socks.

That evening we went to get some sushi and stopped by the red rocks to take some silly photos. I gave my camera to one of my friends so that I could release my inner model. 😜

 But mostly I took the photos.

I feel so lucky to have so many great friends and neighbors! Not only are they great at late night conversations, eating, car ride dance parties, sun bathing, and drinking caffeine but they are also strong women who have overcome so much in their lives. They are giving, kind, open, and friendly women who help each other out every day! I will be forever grateful for these years and friendships made. ✨
