With the dry summer and predictions of dull and dried out leaves not turning their normal vibrant colors, I was super surprised and happy to find very bright and stunning mountains! 2020 can't take everything from me. 👊
It's fun to watch as the light changes as the sun went down. So delicious for the eyes and soul!
We went with our friends too so that was an added treat!
We went there to leaf hunt and bring some beauties home for crafts!
I mean, CAN YOU EVEN HANDLE IT?! It's so mind blowingly amazing!!!!
Hazel was using a stone tablet, berries, and a stick to write messages.
I can't stop looking at this mountain, knowing that I climbed to the top of it (even if it wasn't to the tip top summit 😉)
I cannot believe my good fortune to live somewhere where I get to see this every year!

Beautiful!! The leaves aren't really turning colors here yet, but I'm sure they will soon.
I should have looked at this post for reference before we went up yesterday. Ha ha! Now I know we did go to the right spot. So pretty! Those red leaves were basically pink when we were there.
oh, it looks like I'm not logged in for some reason. That comment is from me, Adrian. ;)
You are blessed because we simply don’t get this color in our mountains around here. Not sure why we don’t have the variety of trees like you do but I wish we had this opportunity to see this every year here. Some trees were planted down by the river and you can get some good colors on the river so that is one good thing.
