Lagoon with a Mask

It's become a tradition to go to Lagoon at least once a year. This year was dodgy, of course, due to the virus-that-shall-not-be-named (anyone else tired of hearing that word?) But we felt good about going. The park had in place the extra precautions to make things safer- hand sanitizers at every ride, masks required to enter and in the lines, and a more limited amount of people in the park each day.
And I am so happy that we decided to go!
It was magical because I have never in my life gone when it was so empty! It was amazing! Truly- hardly a soul was there! We walked onto every single ride! All the kids had fun. Winta and Haben tried some roller coasters too. Rose went on the big pirate ship too! Johnny was obsessed with the car and boat rides. Hazel tried some bigger rides this time too and June was her usual thrill junkie-self.
The only complaint I have is that the time just went by too quick! I really wish I could go back now. And we wore masks in line, well except we really didn't wait in a single line so yeah but we had them. And we sanitized after each ride. And we ended the night with some ice cream and only one knee that needed a band-aid.

(And I think this is the first post that shows off Hazel's rainbow hair braid extensions that she had in for a couple weeks. Super fun!)

No lines. I guess there can be a silver lining. I wish I could have gone.
