This isn't anything crazy but for whatever reason I decided to bring my camera on one of our walks. Maybe I was just so excited that, for once, it wasn't raining. Or maybe the excitement of school being out got to me. Either way, I'm happy I brought it because they looked so cute with their little backpacks on.
(Note: Buck has a new job and he works from home most of the time so I'm able to leave with the girls to go places while Johnny naps. And I don't hate it...)
Leaving the path to explore.
We had to jump over mud, got attacked by spiky weeds, found a field of wild mint leaves, and followed some beetles to see where they were going. So all in all I'd say it was a good adventure. :)

Perfect time to explore before those plants get any bigger with the summer coming on. It’s the simple moments that are the best. 😊
