In the spirit of embracing cold wintry things this season, we headed to the ice castles. We've been a few times before but it still retains its magical allure. It's also very crowded! So it's not for the faint of heart. ;)
We met up with Buck's family there as well. The girls all enjoyed the sled.

And then... there were Star Wars people...
And who thought it was a good idea to have a bloody Yeti... ?
Of course, some tears were shed.
But over all it was a happy time!
We eventually left and then went to dinner next door. We got to see the lights on the way out. Next year we'll have to go at night time!

It barely looked crowded in your photos. But that does seem like a magical place. I'm wondering if it's better to enjoy it from my warm home through your photos or to actually brave the cold and crowds one day!
That’s the trick of being a good photog is getting your own shots even in crowded places! Haha
One day I will get there. The pictures are so fun. The caves are amazing. For some reason I like the one of Rose in the end where she is looking up. And that Wampa is a little scary.
Those caves are beautiful! Maybe some day I will visit Utah in winter...
