Now that Halloween is nearly over, I hope that your day was grand. Halloween is probably my favorite holiday. This year for our costumes we decided to be traditional spooky characters. Hazel's been wanting to be a bat ever since last year on Halloween night, when the day was all over. And she never forgot about it, so a bat she was! June was excited to be a witch, (after I talked her down from being a goblin "who is a changer goblin and can change into all sorts of colors and things.) Rose was a little cat. I was a ghostly ghost. And then there was Buck. Finally in the role he is made for: a vampire. (black hair, widows peak, great teeth.)
A big thank you to Chelsea for taking the photos of Buck and me and for helping with the special effects in my other spooky photos. And thank you to her husband Quynn who stayed in the van with a bunch of crazy kids, who were "too cold!" while we took the photos. And to Buck who took my spooky photos. And to my friend Carrie who donated the bat and kitten costumes. Whew. Okay. I think my academy award speech is over. On to the photos now, shall we?
(yeah, so, apparently I'm not good at face paint and Hazel looks like a cute bat who works in the coal mines.)

The role Buck was born to play!! hahah! And Hazel is the cutest bat ever! It was worth the 1 year wait! I love the ghosty smoky photos and the ones with where buck is attacking you! Why hasn't he been a vampire up until this point?
