Lately- Speedy September

Holla. Here's my September Buzz feed. 😏

My beloved tree swing broke. We've had it since our first anniversary, when Buck gifted it to me. But now, this hammock we got? We should have done this years ago!

Chalking it up on some of the last warm days
But I guess we can't all be happy about that...

A random photo that never made it into any post. So here it is!

Life altering miracles. My dad allowing a cat to cuddle on him!

Cousin visits!
Last snow cone of the season. *tear (and a SUPER attractive photo of me.)

Fire roasted dinner up the canyon while my family was in town visiting!

My nephew!

Rose took her first steps AND started crawling all on the same day! Babies are silly.

I just wanted to remember these pictures June drew for everyone. She was drawing our worst and best days. The top middle one is my worst day when June and Hazel were throwing up. Haha! MY best day is the summer one next to it- she knows me well. ;)

I never tire of the cat cuddles.

I thought this was funny. And sad.

Red Bull is expensive in this part of town!

So I ended up going to Boise without my girls or Buck. I had to go photograph a wedding there and it ended up being right after a crazy week and my cousin's funeral so we decided it would be easier on everyone if I went alone. I was able to ride there with my parents and then come back home with one of my best friends who just happened to be there that weekend too!
Road trip find on the way to Boise.

Boise Arts in the Park with my family! Look at these super cool (and expensive) windows made from glass dishes! People are so creative and cool.
And some more fun art. I have a thing for sea otters.

Hot tubbing with my long time friend Amanda!

Road trip back with friends. And no kids! We listened to old high school songs and stopped to see some alpacas

Back home again and the way Hazel insisted on going to preschool one day.
And trying to check out at the grocery store with Hazel.

My brother in law made this little picture collage with baby Harvey at the bottom! haha!

Don't let the creepy baby doll distract you, this is really a picture of June and Hazel who we now often find asleep together in the same bed. (But seriously, that creepy doll! haha!)

June's drawing of herself.

This photo could be a big post that is big news about a big hole.
We have a hole for our new future home!

A solemn day at the Curiosity museum for Hazel?

Cute tea party for the YW that they invited me to.

Some person sent me this photo of Buck in the church foyer.

Lauren gave me a super cute fishtail braid and I really wish I knew how to do this to myself.

Another fun day at the Curiosity museum!

Chalk the Block festival

Pizza dates

Twinning with my cat!

Denny's dinner- kids eat free!

Morning bed thieves and shenanigans

The blood red moon

Luna!

Nana and her babies!

Some candids from when we made the Dolls of Hope

And the final products! (they hadn't been all done when I originally posted about them) Thank you again aunt Susie!

One day my in laws said they had two tickets to give away to Faith Hill and Tim McGraw concert. (which was sad because my mother in law was too sick to use them but she had really been looking forward to it!) But nobody else in the family was able to go so I ended up with them and when Buck couldn't go I ended up going with my good friend, Emily! And, also, this was the first time I've ever been to a music concert like this. I mean, I've been to symphonies, musical plays, and piano recitals but never a "concert," you know? But it was so much fun! We were silly together and the energy was infectious.
(but after this week in Vegas will any of us ever want to go to a concert again? So sad and awful!)

I love how Luna has learned to love June, even though she's a savage sometimes.

And yet another outing to the Curiosity museum (guess we made up for not going all summer?) This time Rose got to play with her cousin Daxton!

Monthly temple trip by myself. MAN ALIVE the feeling that hit me when I walked in the doors actually caused me to stop in my tracks and take a few breaths. The spirit is so strong there and I needed it more than I realized I guess.

And lastly, the biggest news of the month. June lost her first tooth!!!! I'll be honest, it's surreal to me. How on earth do I have a child old enough to be losing teeth? Like, what is going on here?! Well, she was THRILLED and the tooth fairy was in a good mood and gave her $2. ;)

-Wow, those windows made out of glass dishes!! I want a couple of those!!!
-I got such a kick out of that water table thing for babies when we went to the Curiosity Museum this summer. Actually, the whole water area was amazing. I just sat and watched little tiny kids doing stuff in there. I could just see their little minds working & growing & learning!
-You've set a trend, you know. Now June, Hazel, and Rose are all going to expect $2 for EVERY tooth! :)

I just love these monthly dump posts. Sometimes I'm not sure what to say because I just love all the pictures. Obviously I have seen some of the pictures and made comments before it's always fun to see the ones that you never posted anywhere like Facebook or whatever. I was intrigued by those light up swings and chairs however.

I was intrigued by those light up swings and chairs however and especially loved how you described the temple. I think sometimes we forget to appreciate the powerful spirit that is there.
