Lately- Endless January

I didn't leave my house very much this month. Winter is the worst. I'm sorry there are so many photos in this post.

But I've been continuing on my yoga journey and that's been nice. I also drink these shakes and I have to take photos every day with them and log them in this group to keep me accountable. Fun times.

 Hazel is my work out buddy every morning.

Maybe I don't leave the house, but sometimes I force the girls to.

I read a book! It's been ages and it felt so good. I am going to read more this year.

Guys, I've had my cat for almost seven years and he has never once laid on my lap or anything but on night this past month he came and laid on me and purred and stayed for a while! So I had to document it.

Maybe it's because he sees me do this a lot:

I thought it was cute that June drew "the best part" of her Christmas break as her, Hazel, and their cousin Ginny. They loved playing with her.

Buck's cousin is my hero and took the girls one day and let them have a sleep over with their girls, whom they love. These are a couple photos she sent me of them having a great time.

I was sitting at the computer (yes, in my robe and apparently on laundry sheet day) and I started singing and Rose just looked straight up at me and it was the cutest.

I was mad that they were both sleeping and I was not.

And I love wearing her in the wrap because she is just right there for me to kiss all the time!

On January 10th it marked TEN YEARS since I entered the missionary training center to leave for my LDS mission to Armenia! Which also means it marks TEN YEARS since Buck and I met! So he had roses sent to me because he's a dreamboat.

But the cleaning visit was a good time for them. I guess that's because they were just excited to get out of the house.

I got Rose a bonnet and she looks like the cutest little pilgrim baby.

She also just falls asleep on her own and it's amazing!

Late church time is hard.

Hazel got invited to go to a library story time, get treats, and then to the Curiosity museum with her friends and I got to stay home and rest. I'm so grateful for amazing, helpful friends.

June came home with a little thing on the new president and apparently she thought his eyebrows needed some help. (that's not the only thing that needs help...) She said, "Guess what? We learned all about Donald Trump today! All the bad things he does." Concerned, I asked, "....What bad things does he do?" 

"He says 'let's have a war!' 'let's fight!' Let's eat SNOW!" 

*note: while we do not like Trump, we were concerned that she was being taught these things somehow. Not sure what's going on? Would a teacher really teach her opinion to kindergartners? I guess crazier things have happened...

Honestly, I'm just jealous of my cat most of the time.

June and I have read a lot of books lately.

And she is learning to read too! She was able to read all of these sentences. It's exciting to see.

And what more appropriate way to end this post than with yet another cute photo of Rose? This time, post bath.

It was a month of hiding away and taking selfies with my baby. I'm grateful I was able to at least have the option to hide away. But now that January is FINALLY OVER I am over the moon ecstatic!!! One month closer to warmer weather!
