We had a great time at the Tracy Aviary this past week. We went with our friends Adrian, Elora, and Ellis. The weather was perfect and the place was not crowded at all! Bonus is that Hazel has been obsessed with birds lately. (any photos with me in it were taken by Adrian. Except for a couple selfies at the end of this post.) ;)
This day we finally paid the three bucks to feed the yellow birds. There was also a green magpie in the cage, but he was actually blue. He was my favorite and I got to feed him special meal worms.
Hazel was not happy about him being on her head.
On the way back to the car we stopped to explore an old green house that is nearby. I just really love greenhouses.
Then, as new tradition would have it, June took a turn with the camera.

You find the most fun things to do and I'm loving the June photos. You inspired me to let Charlie briefly hold my camera and he did really well and loved it so much, He took it so seriously and after I took the camera back (I still will not let him walk with it...he's always tripping!) he kept telling me all the things he wanted to take a picture of.
I'm so jealous of your sunshine!! Maybe we will get some someday. The aviary looks really cool. June's pictures are awesome!
