That's a really clever title huh? Whatever. It's snowing outside right now. Seems like that's all that it's done all week! I finally got brave and took the girls out into it one day. Mind you, I waited for the one sunny morning that we had and I basked in it's warmth while the girls made snow angels. That is, until they attacked me with poofs of snow. And when you have a dog, you really have to teach the lesson of "Don't eat yellow snow!" So it was an educational venture as well. And don't worry, we kept it all a cliche and came in and drank hot chocolate by the fireplace.
Also, the grocery sack covered shoes were a one time, creative event. Both girls now have some new snow boots thanks to their nana and pops. (And Hazel REFUSED the grocery sacks anyways)

Fun! at least for now. I love June's wild faces while throwing snow. I kind of hope we get a little snow here. Miles has never seen any!
Well sun and snow go well together don't you think? Just keeping it positive. What isn't too like when you can create a snow angel in fresh snow?
I love the bright pinks and purples against the white snow! Looks fantastic! Not a flake of snow here yet and I am not complaining! I have a vivid memory of being about June's age and begging my mom to take me outside to build a snowman (we lived in Denver at the time). She did...but she did it very quickly and I remember watching her and realizing that she was not enjoying herself at all! (She was cold.) I couldn't understand why she didn't like snow. But now I do!!
Way to be a good mom. I know how much you hate the snow. Haha! I love the boots. Smart move.
