CornBellys

The other weekend we did the quintessential fall activity and went to a corn maze place, Cornbellys at Thanksgiving Point, except that's probably the one thing we didn't do there.

You see, the place has 40 different things to do. FORTY. That's a lot of things! But maybe you don't understand because you weren't there. I'll try and list a few. Bounce houses, a “jumping pillow,” corn kernel sand box, potato sack slide, a princess carriage with a carousel horse at the front, tire swings, pumpkin tether ball, baseball throwing, apple cannons, corn maze, about four different hay bale mazes, a haunted house, an inflatable monster haunted maze, puppet show, animatronic singing animal show, a pig race, a dog show, wagon ride, cow train, the grain train, face painting, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin tic tac toe and checkers, a zip line, mini golf, rock wall, tractors to climb on, rubber duck racing, a wooden boat play ground, dress up station, a little farmers market with plastic food toys, several little pumpkin houses, gem stone mining, mechanical bull, camp fires, entertainment stages, farmer foosball, barnyard billiards, climbing spider webs, singing chickens, more slides.... how many things did I list? I don't even know but this place was INSANE. I cannot believe all the actives and things that they had! It was overwhelming but heck, they make it worth your time and money I suppose!

So we did about half of these things. The girls loved the slides, the princess stuff, the little pumpkin homes. They liked when we bought a bucket of cookies. June kept talking about seeing the monster but once we got there she freaked out and wanted as far away as possible. We watched the pig races and the dog show. We went on the grain train. The girls really liked pumping the water for the duck races. We went with some friends and Buck's parents. It was a good day! And now we can feel okay when fall is over because we've lived the dream, man.

June looooved the dress ups. Hazel picked out one too but then was so mad about it once it was on.
Hazel was NOT a fan of the corpse.

I'd like to title this master piece "A man and his snow cone."

I won.

I've never had a "waffle dog" before but I liked it!

Don't be jealous

So there you have it! It was crazy but in all the best ways.

Ummm..that pumpkin patch is out of control! Sounds fun though. We haven't done a pumpkin patch yet this year, but last week we happened upon an excellent garden that had a corn patch and a couple pumpkins so I may call that good.

Wow that is a pumpkin patch Disney style. I'll have to come down and go sometime.

The pumpkin patch that Seth and I went to was like that...tons of activities! A lot of the same ones you listed, too, like pumpkin checkers, corn sand boxes, mini golf, duck races...
