We finally got our annual drive in the Alpine Loop! It was beautiful as always, although we were about a week later than I wish we were. But I focused on those yellows. It looked like the mountains were God's text book and he had gone through and highlighted the best parts.
I wish I could capture the shimmy and shake that these poka dot leaves dance

Oh! I so badly want to visit Utah in the fall!! I'm always there in the summer, and it's beautiful then too and fall in Maryland is spectacular, but...I miss those beautiful fall mountain drives!
